Overview

We offer new trekking in Javakheti route, in south Georgia, Javakheti plateau, which includes Abuli mountain – the highest point in Javakheti (3300 m). Unlike Great Caucasus range, Javakheti is not overloaded with tourists, it is really off beaten treck. Abuli mountain is former volcano, and Javakheti has huge alpine meddows and many big and little lakes. This area is loved by bird watchers.

Except Javakheti tour includes trekking in Borjomi-Kharagauli national park – the biggest untouched forest in Europe.

Durring this tour tourists will visit also monuments included in UNESCO world heritage sights – Svetitskhoveli cathedral and Jvari monastery, Uplistsikhe, Rabati fortress in Akhaltsikhe, unique village Saro, and Vardzia cave monastery complex,
