Overview

Grand trek in Eastern Caucasus includes trekking from Kazbegi to Tusheti, so it covers three mountain regions – Kazbegi itself, Khevsureti, and Tusheti. The tour starts and ends in Tbilisi, but can be modified for those who are lending in Kutaisi, this will add two more days to the tour.

Grand trek in Eastern Caucasus is 13 days long and contains 8 days of trekking. It includes two trekking tours which we already were selling successfully – Juta – Roshka through Chaukhi pass and Atsunta pass trekking, from Shatili to Omalo.

The optimal group size is 4-12 persons. During the trek, horses are helping to carry luggage. Distance from Roshka to Shatili (50 km) group will cover by jeep.

We are working with the best guides, who know this route well, have years of experience, can solve any problem on the way, and are just great guides! So you will be in good hands in wild nature!

The trekking level is difficult. includes 3 nights in tents. Tourists need to have their own trekking gear. We can assist in renting tents and other gear if needed.

Guides will have cooking gear with them, but tourists are requested to assist the guide in cooking and camp preparations. We will discuss the type of meals with you before the tour, so if you are vegetarian, it is not a problem!

At the end of the tour, the bonus is two relaxing days in Kakheti, where you can relax, eat delicious food and try the best Georgian wines.
